Does Medicaid cover dentures in Mississippi?
Mississippi Medicaid (Division of Medicaid): For adults (non-EPSDT beneficiaries, 21+) the State Plan limits dental to services that are an adjunct to treating an acute medical or surgical condition, involve structures contiguous to the jaw or jaw/facial fracture reduction, and emergency dental extractions and treatment. Dentures are covered only for EPSDT-eligible (under-21) beneficiaries, with prior authorization. State Plan Amendment 23-0030, effective 10/01/2023.
