Does Medicaid cover dentures in New York?
New York State Medicaid: Dentures are a covered adult service statewide (fee-for-service and managed care), with prior approval when necessary. Since the 2024-01-31 policy changes (post-Ciaramella), replacement dentures and implants need a dentist's recommendation with the prior approval documents and no longer require a physician's letter; crowns and root canals were expanded the same day.

Everything on this page comes from one source: the federal NPI register (NPPES), read on September 29, 2026. It lists every provider in New York whose register address matches, alphabetically. No one can pay to be added, removed or reordered, and there are no ratings or reviews here — we have not called or visited these practices.
Three caveats the register itself requires: an NPI number is not proof of an active license (verify one at the New York license lookup), addresses are self-reported and can be stale, and a listing says nothing about quality. If you are listed here and something is wrong, tell us and we will correct or remove the entry against the register.
