Does Medicaid cover dentures in Ohio?

Ohio Medicaid: Full and partial dentures are covered for adults under Ohio's comprehensive dental benefit; complete, immediate and partial dentures are limited to 1 per 8 years (exceedable with prior authorization based on medical necessity, per MTL 3335-23-01 amending Appendix A to OAC 5160-5-01), with extra documentation for long-term-care residents; denture codes D5110-D5140 and partials carry fees on the 1/1/2025 ODM dental fee schedule.

That summary is from the program’s own published wording, read September 28, 2026 — Ohio’s row on the state-by-state table carries the quote, the source and its date.

Verify a Ohio license

An NPI record is not proof of an active license — CMS says so itself. Every profile on this site links eLicense Ohio's license verification (Ohio State Dental Board), and you can verify any Ohio dental license there in about a minute. If what you find disagrees with a listing here, tell us.

How this list works

Everything on this page comes from one source: the federal NPI register (NPPES), read on September 29, 2026. It lists every provider in Ohio whose register address matches, alphabetically. No one can pay to be added, removed or reordered, and there are no ratings or reviews here — we have not called or visited these practices.

Three caveats the register itself requires: an NPI number is not proof of an active license (verify one at the Ohio license lookup), addresses are self-reported and can be stale, and a listing says nothing about quality. If you are listed here and something is wrong, tell us and we will correct or remove the entry against the register.
